Fluvoxamina is a fashion film directed by Andrea Barbui, produced by Carta Catramata, and featuring Gaia Invernizzi. Exploring body dysmorphia, self-image, and transformation, it merges innovative fashion design with cinematic storytelling. Invernizzi’s collection challenges conventional perceptions of the body, using material manipulation and adhesive tapes to create garments that evolve on the wearer, reflecting fluid identities and shifting environments. Set in a dystopian podium scene overseen by a green-lit control room, the film exposes dressing as performance. Featured in Falcon Magazine and honored at the YKK Prize, Fluvoxamina redefines the relationship between fashion, narrative, and contemporary issues.
